Looking to start a social media channel for your unit?
Maintaining an active social media account takes time. You will need to:
- determine who is responsible for the account (more than one person) and define a process for transition of accounts
- follow MSU Brand guidelines
- follow accessibility guidelines
- define goals and areas of content - may be different for different platforms

- build content
- post content - tip: social media algorithms favor those who post consistently

An active social media account will have a continuous flow of posts and interactions linked to a strategy that supports your efforts for maintaining a presence on social media.
