In-Page Search and Filter
The In-Page Search and Filter component adds a filter dropdown and a search box to the page. With a little HTML you can create an area of content that is searchable and filterable. This component was designed to search through large sections of text. The filter option is a set of user-defined words. The search feature is dynamic, as you type the content will be narrowed down. Try searching 'Math' or 'Chemistry' in the Demo area, it will display more related content areas vs. filtering to only one or the other. This component was designed to create a dynamic user experience for finding relevant information.

This major is designed for students who plan to pursue careers involving plants and the environment or who plan to pursue graduate study in the biological sciences.Environmental and Sustainability Studies
This minor includes opportunities to study topics ranging from wetlands remediation to geographic information systems (GIS). In addition, students may elect to study alongside world-class faculty engaged in environmental research.Environmental Biology - Zoology
This major is designed to help students understand the concepts of environmental biology and to apply those concepts to improve both the natural environment and the environment affected by human activities.Environmental Geosciences
The environmental geosciences major is designed for students who want to pursue a career in the environmental sciences with core training in the earth sciences.Genomics and Molecular Genetics
This major is designed to provide a broad foundation in science, with emphasis on genomics and molecular genetics.Geological Sciences
The geological sciences major is designed for students seeking a foundation in the structure, composition and processes of the solid Earth, including such fields as natural hazards, high-temperature geochemistry, geophysics and paleontology.Human Biology
This major is designed for students who want a broad background in the biological sciences and who want to understand the interrelationships among these fields. This program is for those who plan to pursue careers in the health care professions but are not interested in a teaching option.Integrated Science Secondary Education
This major comprises of courses that will provide students a strong foundational knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, and earth/space science.Integrative Biology
This major provides students with an integrated foundation in biology and its underpinnings in chemistry, math, and physics. It prepares students for graduate and professional study and provide the skillsets necessary to enter the workforce.Mathematics
This major provides students with a strong mathematical foundation in problem solving and mathematical proof. Senior-level courses require extensive theoretical mathematics necessary for graduate work in multiple fields, applications to the education field and/or work with applications to industry.Mathematics
This minor which is administered by the Department of Mathematics, will broaden students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts to their chosen field of study.Mathematics Advanced
A Bachelor's degree in advanced mathematics provides students with a strong mathematical foundation in problem solving and mathematical proof. Extensive mathematics is completed beyond the requirements for a standard degree in mathematics.Medical Laboratory Sciences
The medical laboratory science major, although offering the same strong biomedical background as the biomedical laboratory science major, is designed specifically for students aiming toward careers working in medical laboratories. In addition to the scientific foundation, the curriculum provides an introduction to managing medical laboratories and the skills needed to teach and orient staff.Microbiology
