In The Media

The In The Media component is a web design element that highlights an external news article featuring a College of Natural Science Department/Faculty/Staff member. This component should be used in conjunction with columns to present multiple side-by-side. The component(s) need to be wrapped in a DIV with the class inTheMediaWrapper.

Instructions for use

While editing a page:

1. Move your cursor to the area of the page you wish to add the component.
2. Click the "Insert Component" button in the editor toolbar.
3. Select the In The Media component from the list.
4. Enter the date of the publication.
5. Enter the article headline.
6. Enter the name of the news organization that published the article.
7. Enter the URL of the article.
8. Enter the Person or Department Name featured in the article.
9. Enter in the URL of the person or department featured (this is typically a link to a directory profile page if a person is featured).
10. Click the "Save" button.
